Frequently asked questions

I have heard that my website needs to be accessible.  What does this mean?

With the introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act web sites have to be accessible for all users.  This could include partially sighted people or those with other disabilities.  The web sites that are built comply fully with all recognised standards.

What do your range of charges cover?

The price you see is the price you pay (plus VAT where stated), provided your design needs fit in with our basic templates. Any additional work required (incl. photography/logo design) can be quoted for separately.

We like the sound of your basic packages, but as we’re a new firm we don’t have a logo or any images yet. Can you help?

Yes indeed. For an affordable extra cost, we can supply you with all your photography and design needs, including:

  • Please note that if you require specialist image manipulation (other than resizing or compression for web use) additional charges may be incurred. We will inform you of this with your request.
  • Logo Design from our professional graphics department
  • Supply of Library Images

Opportunity to arrange our photographer to visit your company and take photos to meet your specifications.

Why am I billed 10 months from registration?
10 months from the date of registration of your domain name you will be invoiced for both domain name and hosting fee.  If your domain is registered on the 1st of  October 2006 you will be invoiced for its renewal on the 1st August.

Why am I billed two months before my domains expiry?
Companies who wholesale domain names automatically require payment 30 days before the domain registration date.  In order for us to give you time to pay we need to invoice you 60 days before this date to give you 30 days payment time.
